SUNPAN set to launch new art collection at High Point Market in October

TORONTO, Canada (October 1, 2013)

SUNPAN Modern Home will be showcasing its new black and white themed art collection at the upcoming High Point Market from October 19-24 in North Carolina. Their showrooms are located on the bottom floor of the IHFC building, in Interhall IH509, IH510 and IH511.

The new collection includes eleven original hand-painted works of art on gallery wrapped canvas with a matte or high gloss finish, adding to the existing collection of over 35 art pieces.

All SUNPAN original art is commissioned by a Canadian artist who designs each painting within the parameters of a theme, with final selections then sent overseas to be reproduced by local artists.

Inspired by many fashion runway collections, SUNPAN’s latest collection of art reflects a black and white graphic theme. "We are very excited about our black and white collection of art this year. Looking at each piece you can see the balance of shapes, the contrast of colours and the movement of lines. We are proud to be producing artwork that is beautiful, affordable and looks great with our furniture," explained Dorothy Hryc, Creative Director at the company.

Since entering into the art category in 2012, SUNPAN has experienced growing interest and success in these pieces, with sales tripling every quarter. Company President, Sundeep Bagga stated, “this is a new category for us, and our customers are responding very positively,” also adding “when customers visit our showrooms and see the art in real life, they are really impressed with its visual impact and the way it ties in with our furniture.” Their existing collection of art can be viewed on their website at sunpan.com.
