The Customer’s Own Material (COM) program takes our reliable, contract-viable frames and pairs them with covers of your choice for a customized solution that fits your interior design needs. Our dedicated team will be available to manage the logistics of your COM order to help you meet timelines. Elevate your design and experience inspired possibilities.

  • Step 1

    Choose from a wide variety of hand-picked frames. Tailor the design to your taste by selecting from a selection of SUNPAN fabrics or bring your own. Pick a finish that works best.

  • Step 2

    Once you’ve finalised your design, submit are quest for a quote. A SUNPAN sales representative will work with you to finalize all the details.

  • Step 3

    If required, we can ship you a sample for inspection. Once the sample is confirmed, your order goes into production.

    Building a custom design is a complex undertaking. As such, project timelines can vary depending on the size of a project, shipment of custom materials, a sample review (as necessary), and potential design modifications. We recommend placing your COM order well in advance of your project’s deadline as production usually takes a few months.

    We work directly with trusted manufacturers to handle the logistics and shipping of your order. Each order goes through thorough established quality control protocols to uphold our stringent requirements. Once the order is ready, we can ship directly to your preferred location or securely hold it in either our Houston or Toronto warehouse until you’re ready for delivery.

How long does it take to get my COM order? 

Timelines will vary based on the size of your project, material delivery times, sample review, and potential modifications. We recommend placing your COM order well in advance of your project’s deadline to ensure you are meeting timelines.

Can I place a COM order for a frame not listed? 

We are currently only offering COM on select frames due to agreements with our manufacturers. Depending on your needs, our modifiable frames might be a suitable option for your project. Your sales representative can work with you to find solutions for your request.

What are your material guidelines? 

We can upholster our designs in your choice of fabric or leather so long as it is provided as continuous yardage.
